I thought it was obvious; everyone quoted.

A similar principle for use in PvE in half-decent human teams, except of course there's no sense running that sort of thing when the power-creeped OP bullshit PvE offers you can just lay waste to everything.

figured but was checking since like all the people you quoted disagreed with eachother. So please with your infinite wisdom tell us which necro elites are the best? Your disagreeing without posting any real reason why. You say the people don't know the class. Yet you haven't shown your better knowledge by showing us a better necro elite skill. You've mentioned wail but you've already gone over why it's pointless these days in PvE so please do tell.

Mostly addressed above. I would have just left it out but I kept it here for reference sake.

Not all of the elites you listed are bad - I should have pruned it down. Really I was picking up on IV.

Top three Necro elites?
In no particular order:
OoV
OoU
I'm reluctant to say Cultist's Fervor - it's one of Nec elites I use the most (if not the most), but I don't like it much.

However I would put Pain of Disenchantment and Wail of Doom on there before SS.
If it weren't for the recharges, I would also say Ravenous Gaze and Feast of Corruption - I still might.

I haven't said AotL because I'm still trying to weigh that in my mind. Jagged Bones is of questionable worth - you take it because there isn't anything good to give a hero (other than AotL, which I rate above JB).

The same applies to a lot of the Necromancer elites. The things that make Wail not worth bothering with are things that make Pain of Disenchantment not worth bothering with and are the same things that completely trivialise Icy Veins and Feast of Corruption (ignoring the fact that IV is conditional armour-sensitive damage and FoC is hideous to use). SS suffers similarly but SS has other issues that make it questionable before you weigh in the "power-creeped OP bullshit PvE offers".
But this isn't unique to the Necromancer. The Necromancer just has fewer elite toys than some of the others.

The reason why I refrained from posting too much detail was because I knew it'd drag this thread off on a tangent and I'm pretty sure this stuff has been covered before in the Nec forum.

I didn't realize the skill "You Will Die!" even existed until seeing a white mantle use it in the Rise quest.
